How It Works

Each month of letters explores a new theme. Themes may include "Artists vs critics", "Muses", "Postmodern", and "Creating On The Battlefield".

Each week of each theme will feature a real letter from a famous artist exploring the month's theme.

Most themes will include artists from a variety of mediums and disciplines.

Each weekly letter will also include a "postscript" article with background information on the artist who wrote you and the contents of their letter.
